Biography

Vincent advises family-owned and smaller enterprises on how to optimise operations and prepare for generational transition. His expertise lies in streamlining business processes through outsourcing and structuring, while also guiding families at the later stages of the business lifecycle as they move from business ownership into personal wealth. Valued for his integrity and long-standing relationships, Vincent is widely regarded as a trusted advisor - the person clients turn to when decisions have lasting impact. His personal approach makes him a steady hand for families balancing business, legacy, and financial security.

Vincent has been an accountant in Public Practice for over 20 years. In that time, Vincent worked in small and medium sized accounting practices, to a large national accounting firm. He specialised in Self-Managed Superannuation (SMSF) for several years, igniting a lifelong interest in SMSFs. Vincent since found his passion in running his own accounting practice, looking after a suite of Small Medium Enterprise (SME) clients and clients with family businesses.

As a qualified CPA and Chartered Accountant, Vincent values continual Professional Development and the associations developed with his peers as a qualified accountant.

Being a business owner, Vincent has appreciated the challenges and opportunities faced by small business. As an adviser, he knows the importance of the accountant in key business and financial decisions.

Joining the practice in July 2022, Vincent has fostered many relationships with existing Alexander Spencer clients and has assisted clients with business expansion, growth, and lifestyle changes. He is responsible for all Personal Tax Returns and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.

When Vincent isn’t working, he enjoys staying fit and healthy, through his main sporting pursuits of tennis, swimming and golf, although he is still searching for the right work lifestyle balance. On weekends, he likes to spend time with his family, watching school sports, and the Blues, and charcoal cooking at home.

Vincent participates in mentoring programs to give back to the community and the profession. He is a mentor with AMES Australia, supporting refugees and new migrants to our country, in particular assisting them with the search for employment. He is a mentor with CPA Australia, providing guidance to younger accountants in their journey through the profession and development of their careers.
